How this calendar works
Only games with an exact day are listed. "Fall 2026" or "2027" windows don't make the cut, because a window isn't a date you can plan around. Each date is checked against published release schedules, and the check date is shown at the top of the page. The page rebuilds every day, so games drop off once their release day has passed.
Release dates move. When a publisher delays a game, we update the entry and its date. If you spot a date that has changed before we do, tell us.
What "release date" means here
- Platform-specific: a date applies to the platforms listed next to it. A game that's already out elsewhere and is coming to Switch 2 is marked as a Switch 2 version.
- Day, not hour: games often unlock at midnight local time, but some unlock at one moment worldwide, which can be the evening before in the Americas.
- US-focused: regional dates are usually the same, but not always. Check the store in your country.
